About
Mieko Levy-Kobayashi lives and works in Paris.
She holds a dual Master’s degree in Architecture from Ecole Speciale d’Architecture in Paris and in Urban Sociology from Ecole nationale des Ponts & Chaussées.
Her master thesis focused on the crowd of the stadium. The theme of the multitude in relation to the architecture is the starting point of her own work
she started to develop alongside her various collaborations with international architectural firms.
She is also interested about the question of the everyday life practice.
While using standard objects or consumer goods, she tries to give them a new form with a new function.
Her projects cover a large field of intervention: architecture, products design, lights, graphic design, art objects and installations.
